Milena is the Founder and Executive Director of Pando Projects, a nonprofit tech start-up in NYC that helps emerging leaders launch meaningful grassroots initiatives. Prior to Pando, she served as a Kiva Fellow at microfinance institutions in Bosnia, Kenya, and the Philippines. While abroad, she successfully started a business and entrepreneurship program to empower teenage girls from the Kenyan slums, which is still operating today. Prior to Kiva, Milena worked as an investment banker at JPMorgan Chas.  She conceptualized the idea for Pando based on her experience as a grassroots organizer in college.

Milena holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.
